Reserve Your Place on a Tour

Randall Flynn shared this clip with us. During our Artillery at Cross Keys tour, we were headed toward the Federal right flank to look at gun positions but made a quick stop beside the Port Republic Road to check our maps and get reoriented.  That’s Trimble’s Fence just in front of us and the position of Confederate artillery on the distant ridge. Thanks, Randall!

In a caravan tour, each participant has the option to drive from stop to stop in his or her own vehicle. However, space constraints at the various stops will sometimes limit the number of vehicles that can be added to the caravan.  Caravan ImagePlease come prepared to either offer a ride to other participants or to accept such an offer from someone else. Sharing rides helps the group move around more easily and also builds camaraderie that makes the day more enjoyable.

The tour routes are designed to loop back to pick up vehicles without taking any driver far out of the way. Don’t be shy. Buddy up.
